- Go on a relaxing self guided walk Siúlóid Cois Cuan. Walks available from Achill Tourism or online at www.achilltourism.com. Cycle or walk the new Great Western Greenway from Achill Sound towards Westport. Bike Hire available locally.

- The RNLI Sea Safety Team will have presentations on Sea Safety, Lifejackets, Cold Shock, Calling For Help, and Beach Safety for All. There will be a special emphasis this year on the 'Beach Safety' theme. All are welcome.
This stand will be open all day Saturday and Sunday. This service is free of charge, but donations to the Lifeboat are always welcome.

- Coast Guard Mobile Unit
- The Irish Coast Guard aims to reduce the loss of life on rivers, lakes and waterways, to protect the quality of the marine environment and to provide an effective emergency response service. The Special Operations Unit offers 'safety on the water' information, and all are welcome to call in and chat with the Coast Guard Team.
